FAQ's
How do you apply Rub-Ons?
Always try out the process of applying rub-ons first before working on your final project - this allows you to become comfortable with the technique. Take care not to move or alter the rub-ons sheet once you start the transfer process as this could result in "broken" letters or words.

FIRST Transfer: Determine the specific letter or word to transfer to your final project. Place sticker sheet in place (sticky side down) and use the stylus to carefully rub down the letter or word. Take care to rub ONLY the item selected. Once item is fully rubbed into place, remove backing sheet.

SECOND Burnish: Once the rub-ons item has been transferred it needs to be burnished into place for permanence. The process of burnishing is just additional rubbing with the stylus - be sure to protect your transferred rub-ons using a spare piece of backing paper or other paper scrap it. If you are working with an alphabet of individual letters to spell out a word, we recommend that you burnish each letter before moving onto the next letter.

What are Rub-Ons?
Rub-Ons are made of a thin colorful material that has a slight stickiness on the back. Unlike regular stickers, they need to be applied with a stylus - you can also use the wooden craft stick provided in the package or the purchased Rub-On Tool. Available in a range of letter, word or alphabet styles, rub-ons are a great choice for adding a hand-created look to paper crafts. There are also some decorative design elements available as rub-ons too! Best of all, rub-ons provide a clean, neat appearance as there is no edge or "ring" that is often seen by a clear sticker.

What do I do if I make a mistake with Rub-Ons?
Try the Adhesive Remover tool as it works for removing MOST styles of rub-ons. Always test this tool on a scrap piece first before trying to correct your final project piece. In the event that the mistake cannot be corrected, most crafters utilize the addition of another sticker to cover up or camouflage the error.
