For my project I created Glitter Pumpkins. I saw this on Martha's web site, and just loved it! I started with paper craft pumpkins that I painted with Making Memories Harvest Orange acrylic paint. After they were completely dry, I coated the stems of pumpkins with Martha Stewart Crafts glitter in Brownstone. When the stems were dry I coated half of each of the pumpkins with craft glue followed by Martha Stewart Crafts glitter in Fire Opal, Cinnabar and Carnelian. When the pumkins were dry I did the remaining half. To Finish I glittered some butterflies I had left from a previous project and used some glue dots to attach them to the tops of the pumpkins. This project was a blast. It was just the thing to get me in the mood for the upcoming fall holiday season. Because they were craft pumpkins they can be used year after year. Fall is my favorite time of year, and these Glitter Pumpkins will be up through Thanksgiving!
